A 74-year-old Lewiston woman died in a car accident Saturday on Pond Road, police said.
Estelle Martel was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, Normand, when they hit a tree about 5 p.m., police said.
Normand Martel, 80, was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with serious injuries.
The accident is under investigation, police said.
