A pickup truck carrying a trailer filled with pigs crashed into a truck in Bridgton on Tuesday morning, sending both vehicles into the side of an empty building at the intersection of Harrison Road and Iredale Street.
Bridgton police reported on their Facebook page that no serious injuries were reported to people or animals, but one of the drivers was cited for speeding and failing to control a vehicle.
“As seen here, the trailer containing some pigs was intact (even the hair on their chinny chin chins),” Bridgton police wrote on Facebook. “Thanks to all the responders who helped with traffic control and clean up. Th-th-th that’s all folks.”
