Re: “Kids’ L.L. Bean insulated water bottles recalled for lead content” (July 20): I only have one question: When is L.L. Bean, one of the largest retailers in the country (its annual sales were $1.56 billion in 2013, according to a 2014 company fact sheet) and certainly one of the more profitable companies, going to stop selling products made in China?

It’s shameful that as you walk through the store, what you find is product after product, whether it be clothing, children’s water bottles, shoes, boots or athletic gear, all made in China. Shameful!
