With all respect to Mary Elizabeth Nordstrom (“Letter to the editor: Clinton learns from errors, merits trust,” Aug. 5), she is willing to give Hillary Clinton the benefit of trusting her, even though “she has stumbled at least twice” during her career.

I ask Ms. Nordstrom: What about Whitewater and Travelgate? What about Mrs. Clinton’s blatant lies about coming under sniper fire on a visit to Bosnia?

What about the “vast right-wing conspiracy” involving Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky? What about Mrs. Clinton’s Goldman Sachs speeches and her speaking fees? What about Benghazi?

What about her mishandling of classified communications that involve national security? Why wasn’t the Clinton Foundation mentioned once during the Democratic convention?

And finally, why did she appoint Debbie Wasserman Schultz as honorary chair (an unpaid position) of her 50-state program to help elect Democrats around the country?

This appointment occurred the same day that Ms. Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign when emails showed party officials actively trying to sabotage Bernie Sanders’ campaign.
