As the owner of Portland’s Greener Cleaner, I am writing in response to your July 29 article on the closing of our business.

I cannot help but wonder why, when we opened Portland’s Greener Cleaner 4½ years ago, your newspaper completely ignored us, despite our numerous news releases.

Now, I cannot help but notice the irony of one of your reporters calling us, on our last day, hours before Portland’s Greener Cleaner took its last breath, to find out the nitty-gritty details of our demise. Are you in the business of bad news and obituaries only?
