TradeRev, which makes mobile apps and vehicle appraisal and auctioning systems for automotive dealers, has launched operations in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

TradeRev, based in Carmel, Indiana, said it plans to hire 10 workers in Maine as part of the regional expansion.

“Since we launched our aggressive expansion into the United States, getting boots-on-the-ground in this key automotive region has been a major focus,” TradeRev Executive Vice President Keith Crerar said in a news release.

TradeRev said it plans to hire 10 market sales managers in the Northeast, along with staff.

TradeRev uses digital technology to enable dealers to launch live, real-time, one-hour auctions, while allowing buyers to purchase vehicles via their mobile devices.

The company said its technology has revolutionized the process of selling vehicles, making it more productive and profitable for dealers while allowing them to close more deals, minimize risks during the trade-in process and sell vehicles quickly at a reduced expense.
