Portland police say a man brandishing a knife threatened a clerk at a Forest Avenue business Saturday evening and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Lt. Gary Hutcheson said the man entered ScrubaDub at 1180 Forest Ave. around 9:15 p.m. and demanded money. The business serves not only as a car wash, but as a gas station and small convenience store. The man then fled on foot.

Surveillance video identifies the man as a white male in his 30s. He was wearing dark cargo pants, a black baseball cap with an insignia on it and sunglasses and was sporting a bushy mustache and goatee.

Anyone with information about suspect should contact Portland police.
