Crews from eight fire departments battled a huge fire Monday night at a summer camp in the Knox County town of Washington.
A dispatcher for Knox County said several buildings at the Washington Advent Christian Camp on McDowell Road suffered damage.
The dispatcher said crews brought the fire under control around 11 p.m. Monday.
The camp was vacant at the time and there were no reports of injuries. The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified.
WCSH-TV reported that five buildings were destroyed, including a dormitory, dining hall and three small camp buildings.
