Emma Dutremble scored with seven seconds remaining – her second goal of the game – to lift Thornton Academy to a 2-1 victory against Cheverus in an SMAA field hockey game Friday.

The Stags (3-1) took a 1-0 lead on Hannah Abbott’s goal with 6:14 left in the first half. Dutremble tied it on a penalty corner with 3:54 left in the half.

Issy Capozzi of Thornton (3-0-1) recorded nine saves. Kat Kane stopped three shots for Cheverus.

WESTBROOK 5, BONNY EAGLE 1: Danielle Breunig scored four goals as the Blue Blazes (2-1) beat the Scots (0-3) at Standish.

Jaclyn Hazelwood also scored for Westbrook. Samantha Glantz answered for Bonny Eagle.

BIDDEFORD 4, NOBLE 0: Hailey Allen scored two goals to lead the Tigers (2-1) past the Knights (0-4) at Biddeford.

Bekah Guay had a goal and an assist, and Paige Laverriere had two assists. Hillary Mayotte made 16 saves for Noble.

SCARBOROUGH 1, GORHAM 0: Liz Callahan scored with 16:48 remaining to lift the Red Storm (2-2) over the Rams (2-1-1) at Gorham.

SOUTH PORTLAND 5, DEERING 0: Lydia Henderson had a pair of second-half goals as the Red Riots (1-3) defeated the Rams (0-4) at Portland.

Molly Walker and Amelia Papi each contributed a goal and an assist, and Lydia Grant added a first-half goal.

MARSHWOOD 7, SANFORD 0: Elaine Bachelder, Melanie Dube and Mallory Nadeau each scored two goals to lead the Hawks (4-0) over the Spartans (1-3) at South Berwick.

Hannah Costin added a goal and two assists, and Leah Glidden had two assists for Marshwood, which led 3-0 at halftime. Shannon Giblin had four saves for the Hawks.

CHEVERUS 3, MASSABESIC 0: Alex Hammond scored six minutes into the first half and the Stags (2-1) cruised past the Mustangs (0-3) at Portland.

Emma Gallant scored from Katie Gordon two minutes later and Gordon completed the scoring four minutes after that with a header off a corner kick from Lauren Jordan.

PORTLAND 1, WINDHAM 1: Annika Moore tied it 13 minutes into the second half for Portland (1-0-2) against the Eagles (2-0-1) at Windham.

Maggie Lloyd scored for the Eagles in the opening minutes.

DEERING 3, MAINE GIRLS’ ACADEMY 0: Meghana Clere had a goal and an assist as the Rams (2-1) beat the Lions (0-3) at Portland.

Sahar Habibzai opened the scoring with four minutes left in the first half from Clere, the only goal of the first half. Ewa Varney scored from Abby Elowitch early in the second half and Clere made it 3-0 unassisted with three minutes remaining.

NOBLE 0, WESTBROOK 0: Nyagoa Bayak of Westbrook (0-2-1) made seven saves and Reagan Kelly of Noble (0-1-2) stopped five shots in a tie at Westbrook.

GORHAM 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Emma Forgues scored two goals to lead the Rams (3-0) past the Red Riots (0-3) in South Portland.

BOYS’ SOCCER

CHOP POINT 4, A.R. GOULD 2: Oriol Habad scored twice to lead Chop Point (1-0) past A.R. Gould (1-1) at South Portland.

Abdi Ibrahim scored his second goal of the game shortly after halftime to give A.R. Gould a 2-1 lead.

TRAIP ACADEMY 3, WELLS 0: Emma Auclair collected one goal and one assist for the Rangers (1-1), who scored three second-half goals to beat the Warriors (0-3) at Wells.
