A methamphetamine lab was discovered at the same address a fugitive was located Thursday in Old Orchard Beach, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

The MDEA said Friday the meth lab was found inside a vehicle at 42 Milliken St., which is where fugitive Jacob Hastings, 27, of Augusta was located Thursday. Hastings, a member of a white supremacist group who was wanted on outstanding warrants, was arrested after a foot pursuit in the downtown, the MDEA said.

The agency’s meth lab team was on the scene Friday, along with the Old Orchard Beach police and fire departments and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. The lab was the 98th found by police so far this year in Maine.

It was not immediately clear whether the car belongs to Hastings.
