SACO — Chase Pierce converted a penalty kick in the second half Tuesday as Thornton Academy topped Portland 1-0 in a meeting of unbeaten boys’ soccer teams.

Rowan Daligan stopped seven shots for Portland (3-1), while Colin Daly recorded four saves for the shutout for the Golden Trojans (4-0).

GREELY 7, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Hunter Graham scored three goals to lead the offense as the Rangers (2-2) rolled past the Raiders (1-3) at Fryeburg.

NOBLE 1, MASSABESIC 0: Nate DeWolf scored off a feed from Austin Shorey five minutes into the game and the Knights (1-2) held on to beat the Mustangs (0-4) in North Berwick.

Massabesic goalkeeper Xavier Lundrigan kept the game close with 10 saves, and Noah Safford stopped six for Noble.

WAYNFLETE 7, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Mykel Henry scored three goals as the Flyers (2-0-1) beat the Rangers (0-3) in Portland.

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, BONNY EAGLE 2: Charlie Cronin scored the winning goal in double overtime as the Red Riots (2-2) defeated the Scots (1-2) in South Portland.

Cronin opened the game with a goal in the fourth minute, assisted by Princiel Kunieki. Cronin added an assist on Khalid Suja’s goal eight minutes in as South Portland took a 2-0 lead into the half.

Ryan Moody of Bonny Eagle scored on a penalty kick in the second half, and added an assist on Regan McLeary’s tying goal.

Kunieki added his second assist of the game on Cronin’s overtime winner.

Scots goalie Brady Grass recorded six saves. Riley Hasson of South Portland stopped three shots.

RANGELEY 2, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 1: Carl Trafton and Nathan Van Buren each scored goals in the first half for the Lakers (2-1-2) and they held on for a win over the Lions (0-3-1) at South Portland.

Hunter Lowell made four saves for Rangeley and Mason Jones finished with eight saves for the Lions.

KENNEBUNK 0, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: The Rams (2-1-1) and the Patriots (2-0-1) played to a tie at Gray.

William Kenneway had nine saves for Kennebunk, and John-Henry Villanueva stopped 10 shots for Gray-New Gloucester.

WESTBROOK 4, CHEVERUS 2: Jean Marc Lohombolo scored two first-half goals and the Blue Blazes (3-1) held on to beat the Stags (1-3) in Portland.

Caleb Barlow added a pair of goals, including one in the first half to give Westbrook a 3-0 lead. Luc Dionne cut the deficit to 3-1 with a goal early in the second half for Cheverus, but Barlow’s second goal later in the half put the game away. Dionne scored his second goal of the game late in regulation to complete the scoring.

CAMDEN HILLS 1, MESSALONSKEE 0: Kieran Lydon scored an unassisted goal nine minutes into the second half and the Windjammers (4-0) made it stand in a victory over the host Eagles (2-1-1)in Camden.

Messalonskee junior goalie Chase Warren had five saves while Lucas Doetsch had three for Camden (4-0-0).

The Eagles dropped to 2-1-1.

GIRLS

GREELY 4, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Ellie Schad had a goal and an assist and the Rangers (3-0) beat the Raiders (3-2) in Cumberland.

Anna DeWolfe, Sawyer Dusch and Skyler Cooney each added a goal for the Rangers.

MORSE 9, MEDOMAK VALLEY 1: Aubrey and Emily Martin each scored two goals as the Shipbuilders (2-1) cruised to a win over the Panthers (2-2) in Waldoboro.

Sierra Wallace and Noe Sreden each had a goal and an assist for Morse, which scored six goals in the second half.

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, POLAND 1: Mariah Deschino collected three goals and three assists to pace the Capers (2-2) as they downed the Knights (1-3) at Cape Elizabeth.

RANGELEY 4, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 3: Natasha Haley scored the go-ahead goal with about 10 minutes left in the game to lift the Lakers (3-1-1) to a win over the Lions (1-2-1) at South Portland.

Madi Gant scored a pair of goals and also assisted on a goal by Courtney Spaulding for the Lions, who trailed 3-2 at halftime.

Rangeley also got one goal each from Mary-Page Swiney, Brooke Egan and Olivia Pye.

SACOPEE VALLEY 6, ST. DOMINIC 0: McKenzie Murphy scored two goals and also had two assists for the Hawks (3-0) as they scored three times in the opening seven minutes of the game and cruised past the Saints (1-3) at Hiram.

Destini Rand added a pair of goals for the Hawks, who led 3-0 at halftime. Sacopee Valley also got one goal and two assists apiece from McKenzie Murphy and Tasha Silva and one goal and one assist from Annette Humphrey.

YARMOUTH 4, LAKE REGION 0: The Clippers (2-0-1) received goals from four scorers as they opened a 3-0 halftime lead and defeated the Lakers (1-4) at Naples.

Cory Lagenbach, Callie Decker, Hannah Merrill and Adriana Whitlock scored for Yarmouth.

Madison Rock stopped 22 shots for Lake Region, Meredith Lane had three saves for the Clippers.

CAMDEN HILLS 3, MESSALONSKEE 1: Kristina Kelly had a pair of goals and an assist as the Windjammers (4-0) outlasted the Eagles (1-3) at Oakland.

Kelly scored her first of the game when she converted a penalty kick with 18 minutes remaining in the first half, but Lydia Bradfield answered eight minutes later with an unassisted goal for Messalonskee.

Kelly put the Windjammers back on top with her second of the game 49 seconds after intermission on a feed from Kassie Krul, and then set up Ella Pierce for an insurance goal two minutes later.

Hannah DelGiudice stopped eight shots for the Eagles, Isabelle Lang made five saves for Camden Hills.

BRUNSWICK 3, MT. ARARAT 0: The Dragons (3-1) received goals from three scorers as they handled the Eagles (2-2) at Brunswick.

Bailey Hartill had a goal and an assist, and Maeve Arthur and Sara Scrapchansky each chipped in goals.

Kate Guerin made 12 saves for Mt. Ararat; Beth Labbe stopped four shots for the Dragons.

OCEANSIDE 0, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: The Mariners (3-0-1) and the Eagles (1-1-2) played to a scoreless double-overtime tie in Newcastle.

Sophia Schumacher hit a shot off the post that nearly gave the Eagles the lead in the second half.

Eagles goalie Christine Hilton recorded 12 saves. Rachel Joyce stopped 10 shots for the Mariners.
