FRYEBURG — Lily Posternak scored a pair of early goals, and York went on to a 3-0 win over Fryeburg Academy in a Class B South field hockey game on Thursday, moving the Wildcats to 8-0.

Posternak opened the scoring 4:40 into the game off an assist from Emlyn Patry, then added her second goal less than two minutes later.

Izzy Bretz scored off an assist from Sydney Bouchard with five minutes left in the first half.

Julianna Kiklis needed just one save to shut out the Raiders (3-4-1).

FALMOUTH 6, POLAND 2: Devon Sarazin and Kate Kelley scored two goals each and the Yachtsmen (8-1) got out to a 6-0 lead against the Knights (4-3-1) at Falmouth.

Bella Libby and Sydney Bell also scored for Falmouth.

The Knights got goals from Desiree Menard and Hwida Nawass.

Ashton Sturtevant recorded 13 saves for Poland.

KENNEBUNK 4, GREELY 1: Britney Gregoire had two goals as the Rams (6-1) scored four times in the second half to rally past the Rangers (5-3) at Cumberland.

Wren Payne gave Greely a 1-0 first-half lead, scoring off a pass from Sydney Ranalletti.

Lindsey Gregoire tied it before Britney Gregoire put Kennebunk on top. Allie Gregoire extended the lead to 3-1 and Britney’s second goal completed the scoring.

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, LAKE REGION 0: Taylor Young scored twice to help the Capers (4-3) beat the Lakers (0-5) at Cape Elizabeth.

Young started the scoring early in the first half, then extended the lead to on a penalty stroke with 22 minutes remaining in the game. Katie Zajkowski added a goal off a pass from Caroline Logue with 10 minutes left.

YARMOUTH 5, FREEPORT 0: Ally MacLeod scored twice to lead the Clippers (5-3) to a win over the Falcons (4-3-1) at Freeport.

Molly Wilson, Abby McDowell and Eliza Lunt added goals for the Clippers, who led 3-0 at halftime.

Freeport keeper Megan Seymour made nine saves.

ST. DOMINIC 1, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Caroline Johnson scored the winning goal off a pass from Kylie Leavitt with 7:16 remaining, and the Saints (5-2-1) went on to beat the Hawks (2-6) in Hiram.

Abby Slonina stopped seven shots for St. Dominic. McKenzie Cormier made three saves for Sacopee Valley.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 2, MT. VIEW 1: Alex Messey scored with four minutes remaining in the first half and the Phoenix (6-2) went on to defeat the Mustangs (3-5) in Thorndike.

Trailing 2-0, Mt. View got a goal from Rachelle Ravin with 10:12 left in the match.

Sydney Shaffer stopped three shots for Spruce Mountain. Mustangs goalie Alexis Bowman recorded six saves.

WINDHAM 3, PORTLAND 2: Jamie Jannarone finished with 12 kills, 10 aces and 20 digs, Megan Fleck added 21 assists and three aces, and the Eagles (4-2) rallied to win the final two sets and top the Bulldogs (2-4) at Portland, 25-19, 23-25, 21-25, 25-9, 15-5.

Annie Twombly had 14 digs, Ashley Chadbourne added four kills and three blocks and Shayla Eubanks recorded five kills and six assists to lead the Bulldogs.

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, DEERING 1: Molly Mawhinney finished with 11 aces and 13 kills to lead the Red Riots (4-3) to a four-set victory, 25-21, 25-23, 19-25, 25-18, over the Rams (5-2) at South Portland.

Kayla Brown recorded 18 assists and Amanda Bouchard added 33 digs for the Red Riots.

Maddy Broda had 26 assists for Deering.

GREELY 3, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Kayley Cimino had three aces, four kills and 18 assists to lead the Rangers (6-0) to a sweep ofthe Capers (4-2) in Cape Elizabeth.

Steffi Johnson had three aces, and Molly Chapin had five kills for Greely, which won 25-7, 25-13, 25-9.

CHEVERUS 3, MARSHWOOD 0: Liz Jerome finished with six kills, three aces and three digs to lead the Stags (3-4) past the Hawks (3-4) at Portland.

Alexis Parsons added five kills for the Stags and Cassidy McCusker collected six aces and three digs.

Cheverus won 25-11, 25-18, 25-6.

FALMOUTH 3, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Teagan McMahon had five aces and four kills as the Yachtsmen (4-2) swept the Trojans (0-7) at Falmouth.

Alaina Birkel had 11 assists and seven digs, while Amanda Watson had two aces, a kill, and 24 digs for Falmouth, which won 25-11, 25-12, 25-16.

WELLS 3, GARDINER 1: Kait Schott had four aces, 25 assists and two digs and Halee Ramsdell added four aces, 12 kills and two digs to lead the Warriors (4-3) to a win over the Tigers (2-5) at Gardiner.

Bella Zurlo finished with five aces for the Warriors, who rallied after losing the opening set 25-14 to take the final three, 25-18, 25-15, 25-15.

YARMOUTH 3, GORHAM 0: Alison Clark and Sydney St. Pierre each had six aces and Clark also had 12 kills to lead the Clippers (6-1) to a win over the Rams (4-3) at Yarmouth.
