A Hancock County man was killed Sunday when he lost control of his Ford Ranger pickup truck on a curve on Route 179 in Ellsworth.
Ellsworth police Officer Toni Ryan, who investigated the crash, identified the victim as Louis Donathan, 46, of Fletchers Landing.
Donathan was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger “in an aggressive manner” that caused him to lose control of the vehicle around 2 p.m., Ryan said in a news release. His truck overturned. Donathan was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
