CAPE ELIZABETH — Nicolai Sabbatini broke a scoreless tie 15:47 into the game off a feed from Quinn Hewitt as Cape Elizabeth shut out York 2-0 in a boys’ soccer game Tuesday.

The Capers (7-2-1) led 1-0 at halftime, and extended its lead with 2:50 remaining in the second half on a goal from Connor Thoreck, who took a pass from John O’Connor.

Brett Smith made three saves for the Wildcats (6-3).

FALMOUTH 1, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Michael Sanzari scored the winning goal 29 minutes in the first half to lead the Yachtsmen (8-1-1) over the Raiders (4-6) in Fryeburg.

Jack Scribner made one save to preserve the shutout for Falmouth, and Will Zeliff stopped two shots for Fryeburg.

WINDHAM 2, BIDDEFORD 1: Isaiah Connors scored with 19 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Eagles (2-8) over the Tigers (0-10) in Windham.

Felix Lang scored with 1:48 remaining in the first half to put the Eagles up 1-0. The Tigers responded quickly, tying the match on a goal by Jackson Oloya with 53 seconds remaining in the half.

Evan Glicos assisted on Connors’ overtime goal.

Tigers goalie Caleb Ball recorded four saves. Alex Wilkins stopped three shots for Windham.

PORTLAND 3, BONNY EAGLE 2: Alex Millones and Quinn Clarke each scored first-half goals as the Bulldogs (7-2-1) held off the Scots (2-6-1) in Portland.

Portland led 2-0 at halftime and extended its lead 8 seconds into the second half on a goal from Sam Nkurunziza, who converted on a setup from Zekariya Shaib. Shaib had two assists.

Ryan Moody cut the deficit in half with an unassisted goal with 20 minutes remaining. He put in his second goal of the game with 2:38 remaining.

Rowan Daligan made five saves for Portland.

GORHAM 6, CHEVERUS 0: Kyle Patterson had a pair of second-half goals as the Rams (9-0-1) scored six consecutive goals to shut out the Stags (4-7) at Portland.

Ben Nelson and Sam Burghardt each had unassisted goals for Gorham, and Ryan Hamblen scored on a feed from Tyler Richmond.

Harrison Bell stopped five shots for Cheverus; Alex York had a pair of saves for Gorham.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 5, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 2: Jeremiah Hammond and Ethan Spaulding each had two goals and an assist to lead the Lions (3-6-1) over the Knights (0-8-2) in Charleston.

Greater Portland Christian led 3-0 at halftime, and also got a goal from Kade Garrison. Micah Lasalle added an assist.

Josiah Jurczak scored both goals for Highview Christian.

SACOPEE VALLEY 2, ST. DOMINIC 1: Macoy Reinhard gave the Hawks (5-3-1) the lead for good on a cross from the right corner by Camden Bibro with about 15 minutes to play in regulation as they held off the Saints (1-9) at South Hiram.

Elliot Hachey scored an unassisted goal halfway through the first half to give St. Dominic the early lead, but Bibro countered three minutes later as he took a feed from Michael Murphy and tucked it in behind the keeper.

Branson Glover stopped 12 of the 17 shots for the Saints; Cam Cyr turned aside nine shots for the Hawks.

SCARBOROUGH 6, WESTBROOK, 0: Noah Stracqualursi led the offense for the Red Storm (6-3) with three goals as they shut out the Blue Blazes (4-6-1) at Scarborough.

Justin Perry had a pair of goals for Scarborough, and Eric Murray added a goal.

Jacob Brackett made nine saves for Westbrook, Chris Franklin recorded three saves for the Red Storm.

GREELY 3, KENNEBUNK 0: Will Pidgeon scored a pair of goals to lead the Rangers (4-6) over the Rams (4-6-1) in Kennebunk.

Pidgeon opened the scoring in the 61st minute. Alvaro Obregon scored to make it 2-0 and Pidgeon added his second goal late in the half.

Rangers goalies AJ Eisenhart and Sam Cloutier combined for the shutout. Rams goalie Will Kenneway recorded three saves.

BRUNSWICK 5, LAWRENCE 2: Henry Doherty scored three goals, two in the first half, as the Dragons (3-4-3) beat the Bulldogs (2-8) in Lawrence.

Chris Glover added a goal in the first half, scoring on a header on a cross from Lee Taylor for Brunswick, which led 3-0 at halftime. Everett Horch added a goal for the Dragons. Zoli Nagy scored two unassisted goals for Lawrence, and Christopher Goulette made 14 saves.

WATERVILLE 4, MOUNT VIEW 2: Justin Wentworth scored two goals and Ethan Cayer had a goal and two assists as the Purple Panthers doubled up the Mustangs at Webber Field in Waterville.

Jack Lloyd also scored for Waterville (6-4-1).

Nathaniel Illingworth and Darrett Fowler scored for Mount View (3-8-0).

CARRABEC 1, MT. ABRAM 0: Jared Daigle scored midway through the second half as the Cobras edged the Roadrunners in North Anson.

Dustin Crawford had the assist.

Seth Padelford had eight saves for Carrabec (7-1-2) and Xavier Romanoski had 10 for Mt. Abram (4-4-2).

GARDINER 2, MCI 1: Casey Bourque scored two unassisted goals to spark the Tigers in Pittsfield. Both goals came in the second half. Cam Bell made six saves for Gardiner (4-5-1).
