STANDISH — Noah Perry had a goal and two assists, and Massabesic ended Deering’s unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory in a boys’ soccer game on Thursday.

Joshua Castonguay made 14 saves to help the Mustangs secure their second win of the season.

Xavier Lundrigan opened the scoring, converting a setup by Perry 9:44 into the game. Perry followed with a goal of his own five minutes later as Massabesic (2-9) took a 2-0 halftime lead.

Chris Irakoze cut Deering’s deficit to 2-1 less than a minute into the second half.

Ethan Ouellette completed the scoring off a feed from Perry.

The Rams (9-1-1) had won three in a row following a scoreless tie with Gorham on Sept. 22.

GORHAM 3, PORTLAND 0: The Rams (10-0-1) scored a pair of second-half goals to pull away from the Bulldogs (6-3-1) at Gorham.

Jackson Fotter’s goal staked Gorham to a 1-0 halftime lead.

Ryan Firmin and Nick Sturtevant each scored in the second half.

Alex York turned aside five shots for the Rams. Rowan Daligan stopped seven shots for Portland.

SOUTH PORTLAND 1, CHEVERUS 0: Charlie Cronin scored on a 25-yard free kick in the second minute and the Red Riots (8-3) held on to defeat the Stags (4-8) in South Portland.

Riley Hasson of South Portland and Harrison Bell of Cheverus each recorded four saves.

WESTBROOK 3, BONNY EAGLE 0: Shammah Gahomera had three goals to lead the Blue Blazes (5-6-1) over the Scots (2-6-1) at Westbrook.

Grayson Post and Austin Pierce each tallied an assist, while Jacob Bracket made 12 saves for Westbrook.

Brady Grass stopped nine shots for Bonny Eagle.

A.R. GOULD 3, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 2: Tyrese Collins scored on a feed from Issak Aliyow midway through the first overtime, and the Bears (7-4) outlasted the Lions (3-7-1) at South Portland.

Ethan Spaulding opened the scoring for Greater Portland Christian when he put in a header off a corner kick from Jeremiah Hammond, but Abdi Ibrahim answered for A.R. Gould on a feed from Lucas Rogers for a 1-1 halftime tie.

Collins gave the Bears their first lead early in the second half, but Spaulding countered to send the game to overtime.

RICHMOND 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Brendan Emmons scored twice to lead the Bobcats (8-1) over the Hawks (5-4-1) at South Hiram.

Emmons put the Bobcats up 1-0 off a pass from Cody Tribbet with 16:51 remaining in the first half. Tribbet added an unassisted goal four minutes into the second half.

Camden Bibro of Sacopee Valley cut the lead to 2-1 on a pass from Macaleb Reinhard just over a minute later.

Emmons recorded his second goal on a penalty kick with 18 minutes remaining.
