As a member of the Friends of Capisic Pond Park, I’ve been working to get Capisic Pond dredged and restored for over 25 years.
Thanks to the work of District 3 City Councilor Ed Suslovic, this seemingly insurmountable task has finally been accomplished. Ed paid attention to this project through years of meetings, planning and advocacy, and he helped the Friends of Capisic Pond Park work effectively to locate the resources and bring the project to completion.
Ed has been a wonderful partner on this important neighborhood project. I am pleased to support him in his bid for re-election. He has been responsive, thorough and knowledgeable – as well as, I believe, right-headed in his vision for Portland.
