A 63-year-old man who was injured after pouring gasoline on an outdoor fire in October has died, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Michael Garrett, of Lewiston, died Thursday after being burned on Oct. 27 near his home. He had been hospitalized since he was injured. Investigators said he used gasoline on a campfire, which exploded and caused severe burns.
