Recently, the Holy Father said women would never be allowed to be priests because Jesus chose men to be Apostles. When we consider the status of women in society, at that time, it is not surprising that men were chosen to lead.

I believe if women were allowed in the inner circle of the church, they would have stopped the pedophile priests and would not have allowed them to be moved to unsuspecting parishes. There is a shortage of priests and it is not surprising when half the population is eliminated from serving.

God so exalted women that He chose the Blessed Virgin to bear the Christ child, yet the church doesn’t feel women are worthy to be priests.

As Spock would say, “This is illogical.”
