Eight fire departments responded to a residential fire in York Beach on Saturday morning.
Firefighters from York Beach, York, Kittery, Eliot, South Berwick, the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Ogunquit and Wells responded to a two-alarm fire at 19 Fort Hill Ave. at about 7:25 a.m., said Capt. David Osgood of the York Beach Fire Department.
York Beach firefighters were tied up on another call, which led to the multi-agency support, Osgood said.
The house fire was extinguished within about 15 minutes, he said. There were no injuries.
