PERHAM – Maine State Police say a 29-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Route 228 in the town of Perham in Aroostook County.
Police say the crash was reported just before 11:30 p.m. Friday.
The investigation determined the vehicle was traveling south at a high rate of speed and it failed to negotiate a turn. The vehicle became airborne after striking a culvert. It rolled over multiple times.
The victim, Kyle Goding, of Perham, was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
