ALBANY, N.H. – Fire officials say a large brush fire in New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest is nearly contained.
The fire started near the Albany Covered Bridge and the Kancamagus Highway over the weekend, spreading to nearly 330 acres.
Forest officials said over an inch of rain has helped their efforts.
No structures have been lost or threatened.
It is still unknown how the fire started. The investigation remains open.
Crews from Maine and New Hampshire battled the fire.
