A Mechanic Falls woman was sentenced Friday to 30 days in prison for tax evasion, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Amanda Ouellette, 38, had pleaded guilty in July to failing to account for and pay federal employment taxes in connection with the operation of Daddy O’s restaurant in Oxford from 2008 to 2013.
She was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Portland by Judge George Z. Singal.
Ouellette was ordered to pay $114,488 in restitution. The Internal Revenue Service conducted the investigation.
