Maine’s largest community bank has extended its customer service to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Camden National Bank announced the expanded service hours at its Customer Assistance Center in a news release Tuesday. It also said it expanded its cybersecurity protection with real-time debit card fraud-alert offerings, adding email to the text and phone notification options already available.

“We’re excited to announce these enhancements which deliver innovative technology, service and convenience to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers,” said Greg Dufour, bank president and CEO. “We have made significant investments in our online banking and mobile apps to meet the digital banking needs of our customers at their convenience. At the same time, we also recognize the need for live, human support at any time of the day or night to complement the sophisticated electronic tools our customers utilize.” The Customer Assistance Center can be reached at (800) 860-8821.

Founded in 1875, Camden National Bank has assets of $3.9 billion, making it the state’s largest Maine-based bank. It operates 61 banking centers around the state.
