SCARBOROUGH — Scarborough held Lewiston scoreless in the first quarter and opened a 34-4 halftime lead on its way to a 70-28 Class AA boys’ basketball win Saturday.

Nick Fiorillo scored 13 points, and Reece Lagerquist and Morgan Pratt each had 12 for Scarborough (1-10). Fiorillo and Lagerquist also grabbed eight rebounds apiece.

Ibn Khalid finished with 10 points for Lewiston (2-9).

CHEVERUS 51, BONNY EAGLE 43: Jack Casale scored 22 points and the Stags (7-2) used a 12-4 run in the fourth quarter to beat the Scots (3-7) in Portland.

William Hendrix led Bonny Eagle with 19 points. Connor Sirois scored 12.

THORNTON ACADEMY 68, BANGOR 40: David Keohan scored 25 points to lead the Trojans (10-0) over the Rams (2-8) at Saco.

Evan Christensen tallied 15 points, and Austin Boudreau had eight rebounds and nine assists for Thornton.

GREELY 75, BIDDEFORD 63: Jordan Bagshaw and Ryan Twitchell combined for 23 points in the first half as the Rangers (10-0) opened a 38-23 lead in a win over the Tigers (5-5) at Biddeford.

Bagshaw finished with 22 points, Twitchell scored 21, Zach Brown tossed in 12 and Matt McDevitt added 11.

Kyle Norton led Biddeford with 17 points. Austin Dutremble contributed 11 points and Patrick Pearl had 10.

FALMOUTH 63, MARSHWOOD 44: Sean Walsh scored 23 points and the Yachtsmen (9-2) used a 21-6 surge in the third quarter to pull away from the Hawks (4-6) in Falmouth.

Colin Coyne added 11 points and nine assists for Falmouth, which led 31-20 at halftime. Jack Bryant chipped in with 11 points.

Benjamin Beers scored 11 points, and Henry Herbold and Dawson Casey each added 10 for Marshwood.

PORTLAND 58, GORHAM 44: Terion Moss scored 14 points while leading the Bulldogs (8-1) to a win over the Rams (2-8) in Gorham.

Portland used a 19-10 edge in the third quarter to open a 49-31 lead.

Clay Hardy-Lindsey added 13 points for the Bulldogs.

Jason Komulainen led Gorham with 12 points.

WINDHAM 75, NOBLE 53: Mike Gilman scored 11 points – including three 3-pointers – in the third quarter as the Eagles (7-3) used a 22-8 run to break open a close game against the Knights (0-11) in North Berwick.

Gilman finished with 23 points. Nick Curtis added 21 for Windham, which led 34-32 at halftime.

James Hashem finished with 15 points to pace Noble. Zach Deroches tossed in 10.

CAPE ELIZABETH 54, LAKE REGION 45: Quinn Hewitt finished with 18 points to lead the Capers (8-2) over the Lakers (4-6) at Cape Elizabeth.

Mark Mayo paced Lake Region with 20 points. Tyler Walker added 13.

BRUNSWICK 49, OCEANSIDE 39: Corbin Teel finished with 13 points and six rebounds, and Jackson Gordon scored all six of his points in the fourth quarter as the Dragons (6-6) pulled away from the Panthers (8-2) in Brunswick.

Josh Dorr added 10 points for the Dragons, who led 34-31 heading into the fourth quarter.

Oceanside’s Sam Atwood scored 14 points, knocking down four 3-pointers.

WELLS 47, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 35: The Warriors (7-3) built a 15-2 lead in the first quarter and held off the Patriots (5-5) at Gray.

Owen Berry scored 13 points and Cam Cousins chipped in with 12 for Wells.

Josiah Rottari finished with 11 points for the Patriots, who got as close as four points in the fourth quarter.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 61, GARDINER 48: Cam Allaire had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Kyle Donlin added 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Panthers (11-0) pulled away from the Tigers (6-4) in Waldoboro.

Cale Gee contributed seven points and six assists.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 53, ST. DOMINIC 31: Ian Regan scored 18 points and the Seagulls (5-4) opened the game on a 21-2 run against the Saints (0-10) in Old Orchard Beach.

Tyler Braiser added 12 points for the Seagulls, who led 38-2 at halftime.

Sam Rines scored 19 points to pace St. Dominic.

POLAND 68, SACOPEE VALLEY 28: Peter Bolduc III scored 11 of his 18 points in the first half as the Knights (3-7) beat the Hawks (2-8) in Poland.

Poland broke the game open with a 23-5 second quarter, building a 38-15 lead.

Macoy Reinhard led Sacopee with 10 points.

VALLEY 60, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 58: Joshua Brown scored 18 points and Austin Cates had 17 as the Cavaliers (8-1) edged the Guardians (5-5) in South Berwick.

Jet Archer and Caleb La Croix each scored 18 points to lead Seacoast Christian. Archer also grabbed 13 rebounds.

ISLESBORO 42, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 30: Avery Grindle scored 15 points for Islesboro (5-3) in a win over the visiting Lions (1-8).

Jeremiah Hammond led GPCS with 15 points.

MADISON 66, HALL-DALE 64: Sean Whalen scored 16 points and Matt Oliver and Mitch Jarvais each added 15 as Madison (10-1) edged Hall-Dale (8-3) in overtime, at Madison.

Ashtyn Abbott scored 22 points for Hall-Dale, which made 11 3-ponters. Tyler Nadeau, Alec Byron and Jett Boyer each added 11 points.

BREWER 58, WATERVILLE 31: Brandon Glidden scored 13 points to lead the Witches (4-7) over the Panthers (0-10) in Brewer.

MCI 59, MARANACOOK 58: Caleb Romanov scored his only point of the game with no time remaining in overtime to give the Huskies (2-9) a win over the Black Bears (4-7) in Readfield.

Caleb Delisle chipped in with 16 points for Fort Kent, who led 41-28 at halftime.

HOCKEY

YORK 5, BRUNSWICK 0: Jacob Martin notched a pair of goals as the Wildcats (6-1) cruised past the Dragons (2-8) at Dover, New Hampshire.

Colin Palmer had a goal and an assist for York, and Andrew Bertolini and Mark Engholm also scored.

Oscar Kwok and Keenan Gamache combined for the shutout, making a total of 11 saves.

YARMOUTH 4, GORHAM 3: Cooper May’s goal with 43 seconds left in overtime gave the Clippers (4-3-1) a win over the Rams (3-6) at Travis Roy Arena.

May finished with two goals and two assists. Dom Morrill and Chris Romano also scored for Yarmouth.

Carter Landry tallied all three goals for Gorham.

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, GREELY 0: Ryan Collins scored both goals and Pete Haber made 30 saves as the Capers (4-3) shut out the Rangers (3-4) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Gus Frankwicz assisted on a power-play goal by Collins midway through the second period. Alex Glidden picked up an assist on the second goal, early in the third period.

Greely goalie Josh Lawless stopped 21 shots.

WINDHAM/WESTBROOK 2, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE 1: Jack Gresh scored during a 5-on-3 power play with 1:36 remaining to give Windham/Westbrook (3-5) a win over Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse (4-5) in Brunswick.

Cam Morrison also scored for Windham and Sean White made 32 saves.

Ryley Austin gave Mt. Ararat a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal midway through the second period.
