SOUTH HIRAM — Te’Andre King scored 18 of his game-high 25 points in the first half Thursday night and North Yarmouth Academy went on to a 61-44 victory against Sacopee Valley in a Western Maine Conference boys’ basketball game.

King helped the Panthers (7-4) open a 34-28 halftime lead against the Hawks (3-9).

Haven Cutko finished with 10 points for NYA, which outscored Sacopee 14-8 in the third period to increase its lead to 48-36.

Brandon Sloan scored 10 points for the Hawks.

RICHMOND 64, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 33: Zach Small scored a game-high 21 points as the Bobcats (11-0) defeated the Seagulls (5-6) at Old Orchard Beach.

Cody Tribbet had 15 points and Matt Holt tossed in 13 for Richmond.

Tyler Brasier scored 11 points to lead Old Orchard Beach.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

MEDOMAK VALLEY 58, ERSKINE ACADEMY 32: Gabby DePatsy had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers (4-8), who used a 25-5 run in the third quarter to put away the Eagles (2-10) at Waldoboro.

Sadie Cohen added 13 points, eight steals and seven rebounds for the Panthers, who led 23-16 at halftime and 48-21 going into the fourth. Lydia Boucher scored eight points to pace the Eagles.

MADISON 42, LISBON 20: Lauren Hay had a game-high 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (9-3) over Lisbon (6-6) at Madison. Marah Hall added eight points for Madison.

CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE/SOUTH PORTLAND 5, CHEVERUS/KENNEBUNK/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4: Sophia Venditti scored twice, including 58 seconds into overtime, and dished out three assists as the Capers (6-7) downed the Stags (5-8) at Portland.

Hannah Bosworth and Venditti had goals to open the scoring for Cape before Caitlin Wolff and Lilly Wolff answered for Cheverus in the first period.

Abby Lamontagne scored and Caitlin Wolff added her second to give the Stags a 4-2 lead going to the third period, but Bosworth and Kate Ginder scored to tie it, both from Venditti.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

BIDDEFORD 7, ST. DOMINIC 0: Colin Petit and Ricky Ruck each contributed two goals and a pair of assists as the Tigers (6-4) cruised past the Saints (5-3) at Biddeford.

Curtis Petit had a pair of goals and an assist, and Colin Lavigne and Logan Magnant each added two assists for Biddeford.
