Re: Rep. Larry Lockman’s speech at the University of Southern Maine:

The hard left is made up of Marxist revolutionaries (“The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution”).

There is an unholy alliance between the leftists and Islamists (also known as the “Red-Green Axis”).

In his book “Catastrophic Failure,” former intelligence analyst Stephen Coughlin has written: “The shutdown of free speech, particularly saying anything negative about Islam even if it’s true, has been an objective of the OIC’s (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) Ten Year Programme of Action, Islamophobia campaigns and Days of Rage, U.N. Resolution 16/18, The Istanbul Process and the Rabat Plan of Action. Protected free speech must be criminalized.”

What’s particularly disturbing is that the wannabe president, Hillary Clinton, threw her full support behind U.N. Resolution 16/18 while she was secretary of state. Nothing is more highly cherished in this country than the First Amendment’s free speech principles. As noted by Andrew C. McCarthy in the National Review, “The joint (Barack) Obama-OIC Resolution 16/18 effectively imposes sharia blasphemy standards on American law” – a position that is absolutely disgraceful.

On Thursday, Rep. Larry Lockman explained his submittal of L.D. 366, “An Act To Ensure Compliance with Federal Immigration Law by State and Local Government Entities,” which ensures that municipalities in Maine comply with federal immigration law. Dissent is appropriate. Disruption or cancellation are not. Thankfully, USM President Glenn Cummings agreed.

I’m willing to bet that none of the enlightened Students for USM Future have read the bill. Far worse, these “useful idiots” couldn’t care less about its contents. They want open borders with unimpeded access to taxpayer-funded welfare benefits as well as legal rights for all non-citizens. Why bother with even having a country?

I’m a product of the tumultuous 1960s, but now whenever I hear John Lennon’s “Imagine,” I cringe.
