You’d think an optimist like me would be cheered by Donald Trump’s historically high disapproval rating of 56 percent and low approval rating of 38 percent, but instead I just feel alienated and disheartened to realize that four out of 10 of my fellow Americans still approve of this abysmal president.
Are we really of the same species, inhabiting the same world?
