Many retired Americans, including some from Maine, have settled in Mexico, where, for many reasons, their Social Security checks allow them a better life.
These people are immigrants in Mexico. Should the Mexican government retaliate against the U.S. policy of deporting Mexican citizens from here by rounding up these seniors and dumping them on the other side of the wall?
Will they end up in soup kitchens because they don’t have enough money to survive in the U.S.? Will President Trump put a border tax on Social Security checks being spent overseas, instead of in the American economy? Where will it all end?
