Thank you to Sen. Angus King for holding his recent public town hall. I look forward to attending more in the future.
I now call on Sen. Susan Collins to begin holding regular town halls as well. I was so discouraged that she did not hold one during the last recess that I called her office asking to know when she plans to reach out to her constituents. I never received an answer from her.
The next congressional recess is very soon: March 19 to April 3. Sen. Collins will have the opportunity to begin a conversation with us on the many pressing issues that are coming before the U.S. Senate. I look forward to learning the locations for her public meetings.
