BALTIMORE — Chris Tillman pitched five sharp innings in his season debut, and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Chicago White Sox 4-0 Sunday to complete a three-game sweep.

Trey Mancini had three hits and drove in a run for the Orioles, who took an early 4-0 lead against Jose Quintana (2-5) and coasted to their fourth straight victory.

Sidelined since March because of right shoulder bursitis, Tillman came off the disabled list to join an unstable rotation in need of another arm. After walking the first two batters, Tillman bounced back nicely in his first appearance since the 2016 AL wild-card game.

INDIANS 1, ROYALS 0: Mike Clevinger and four relievers combined for a one-hitter as Cleveland won in Kansas City, Missouri.

Carlos Santana had three hits, including an RBI single in the fifth that followed Yan Gomes’ double for the game’s only run.

MARINERS 4, RANGERS 3: Kyle Seager hit a tiebreaking home run in the eighth inning and host Seattle rallied late to beat Texas.

Down 3-0, the Mariners scored three times in the seventh. Seager connected with one out in the eighth off Sam Dyson (0-4) for his second homer of the season.

BLUE JAYS 2, RAYS 1: Joe Biagini and four relievers combined on a three-hitter, Darwin Barney hit a tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning and Toronto won in St. Petersburg, Florida.

ASTROS 5, ANGELS 3: Jose Altuve hit a three-run homer during Houston’s four-run third inning, and Evan Gattis also homered in a win in Anaheim, California.

ATHLETICS 8, TIGERS 6: Ryon Healy hit a two-run homer to cap a three-run ninth inning against Francisco Rodriguez, and Oakland rallied for the second straight day to win at home.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

CARDINALS 6, BRAVES 4: Tommy Pham hit two homers, including a two-run drive in the 14th inning, and St. Louis recovered after blowing a four-run lead to complete a three-game sweep in Atlanta.

Pham’s long home run in the 14th off Josh Collmenter (0-1) drove in rookie Magneuris Sierra, who reached on second baseman Jace Peterson’s fielding error.

Recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Friday, Pham had a career-high four hits and drove in three runs.

MARLINS 7, METS 0: Shortly after scheduled starter Matt Harvey was suspended by the Mets, Giancarlo Stanton hit two more monstrous home runs off fill-in Adam Wilk to lead Miami to a win in New York.

BREWERS 6, PIRATES 2: Eric Thames broke out of his slump with a home run and three hits, sending Milwaukee to a victory in Pittsburgh.

ROCKIES 5, DIAMONDBACKS 2: Tyler Chatwood pitched two-hit ball into the eighth inning before exiting after deflecting a comebacker with his pitching hand, Mark Reynolds homered for a third straight game and Colorado beat Arizona in Denver.

REDS 4, GIANTS 0: Scott Feldman pitched a four-hitter, Scott Schebler and Zack Cozart homered off Johnny Cueto and Cincinnati won at home for its season-high fifth straight win.

PHILLIES 6, NATIONALS 5: Freddy Galvis hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift Philadelphia to a comeback win over Washington, in Philadelphia.

Pinch-hitter Aaron Altherr connected for a tying, three-run homer in the eighth.
