A Limington woman turned herself in to Maine State Police on Friday night and was charged with aggravated criminal mischief in connection with a series of vandalism incidents in Hollis, according to the Maine State Police.

Emma Lewis, 18, turned herself in about 10 p.m. Friday, state police announced on their Facebook page.

Samantha Maxfield, 20, of Hollis was arrested earlier Friday and also was charged with aggravated criminal mischief in connection with the vandalism.

There were more than 20 instances of vandalism in which houses, cars and signs were sprayed with paint.

The vandalism occurred early Thursday, police said, in the area of Ropewalk Drive, Loren Lane, Mahlon Drive, Tanglewood Drive, Kingswood Drive, Cape Road and Plains Road.
