HARRISBURG, Pa. — Khayyan Norfork drove in five runs and Yadiel Hernandez added three RBI to lead the Harrisburg Senators to an 11-9 win Sunday against the Portland Sea Dogs.

Portland staked Elih Villanueva to a 3-0 lead as Henry Urrutia singled home two runs in the first inning and Danny Bethea homered in the second.

But Villanueva (4-4) couldn’t make it out of the third inning. Norfork slammed a two-run homer in the second, and Victor Robles and Corban Joseph started the third with back-to-back home runs to give Harrisburg a lead it wouldn’t relinquish.

Villanueva allowed two more batters to reach before reliever Josh Smith gave up an RBI single to Hernandez.

Urrutia finished with four of Portland’s 10 hits and scored three runs, and Jeremy Barfield slugged his 18th home run of the season – a two-run shot in the sixth. Barfield finished July with 12 home runs and 33 RBI – both team records for one month.

The Sea Dogs begin a six-game homestand Tuesday night, facing the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
