I must say, I was amused to read, in the Maine Sunday Telegram, an article criticizing another news media company, Sinclair Broadcasting, basically for being biased – in this case, conservatively, which you accurately point out (“Pro-Trump commentary tunes out critics,” Page B1, July 30).
However, the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram certainly doesn’t have to take a back seat to anyone in terms of slanting the news – in your case, obviously to the liberal side.
I thought it was particularly poignant that the article was right next to Bill Nemitz’s usual “objective” column.
