BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Kevin Taylor hit a walk-off RBI single in the seventh inning as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies rallied to a 4-3 victory over the Portland Sea Dogs in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday.

In the first game, which began Saturday and was suspended because of rain in the fourth inning and completed on Sunday, Kevin Kaczmarski hit a walk-off double in the eighth inning to lift the Rumble Ponies to a 1-0 win.

In the second game, Portland (59-65) took a 3-0 lead in the first inning when Jeremy Barfield hit a three-run home run, his 23rd of the season.

Binghamton (75-49) cut the lead to 3-1 in the sixth on an RBI single by Patrick Mazeika. In the seventh, Binghamton tied it 3-3 on an RBI single by Matt Oberste and an RBI groundout by David Thompson.

Teddy Stankiewicz started for the Sea Dogs and took a no-decision. He allowed one run on five hits, while striking out seven and walking none in 51/3 innings. Bobby Poyner pitched 11/3 innings, allowing three runs on four hits for a blown save and the loss.

Corey Oswalt (10-5) earned the win, allowing six hits and three earned runs with five strikeouts over seven innings.

In the first game, Tim Peterson pitched two scoreless innings for Binhamton to earn the win. Ty Buttrey faced three batters and took the loss for Portland.
