Portland Area Comprehensive Transportation System has launched Getting there from here, a website asking for feedback on regional transit access and pedestrian-cycling paths.
The website includes a survey and place for residents to post photos and stories of biking and walking on paths and trails in 18 towns and cities around Portland, according to a news release from the agency.
PACTS will use information from the survey to guide where to spend transportation funds for future projects.
The agency is developing a transportation plan to have a complete regional network of accessible trails, paths and bike lanes. It’s also developing a plan to make bus stops more accessible, especially for people with disabilities. That plan could include mini-hubs, enhanced bus stops that might include amenities like lockers and bicycle storage.
The online survey is available through Oct. 18.
