OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Dylan Desroches rushed for 229 yards and two touchdowns to lead Mountain Valley to a 22-6 win over Old Orchard Beach in a Class D South football game Saturday afternoon.

Desroches opened the scoring with a 35-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, sending Mountain Valley (4-2) into halftime with a 6-0 lead.

Jacob Blanchard made it 14-0 with a 4-yard run in the third quarter.

Old Orchard Beach (3-3) got on the scoreboard with 7:50 remaining when Cody Blanchette returned a punt 85 yards, but Desroches answered with a 74-yard TD run.

WINSLOW 41, GARDINER 7: The Black Raiders (5-1) turned two turnovers into touchdowns, and Ryan Fredette rushed for three TDs in a win over the Tigers (1-5) in Winslow.

Winslow was aided by an interception and three fumbles.

With the Black Raiders leading 14-7 in the second quarter, Tom Tibbetts intercepted a pass at the Gardiner 45 and returned it to the 1. Ryan Gagnon scored on a keeper on the next play.

Gardiner lost a fumble at the Winslow 15 in the final minute of the second quarter, then coughed up two more fumbles in the second half. After recovering a fumble at the Gardiner 27 midway through the fourth quarter, Fredette (20 carries, 141 yards) ran for a touchdown on the next play. He added a 9-yard run for the final touchdown.

MADISON 28, OAK HILL 13: Jacob Meader rushed for a touchdown in the first quarter and recovered a teammate’s fumble for a second-quarter touchdown, starting the Bulldogs (5-1) on their way to a win over the Raiders (2-4) in Wales.

Madison also got TD runs from Evan Bess and Sean Whalen.

Oak Hill avoided the shutout with two touchdowns in the final 24 seconds – a 3-yard run by Reid Cote and a 29-yard pass from Gavin Rawstron to Darryn Bailey.

DEERING 2, BONNY EAGLE 0: Mohammed Abdurahman put away a deflected shot seven minutes into the game and Louange Turahimbawe added a second-half goal as the Rams (7-3-1) defeated the Scots (5-6) in Standish.

Caleb Delano assisted on the second goal.

Max Morrione made three saves for the Rams. Bonny Eagle’s Connor Redlon kept the game close with 14 saves.

GREELY 4, WELLS 1: Quinn Molloy scored twice for the Rangers (5-5-1) in a win over the Warriors (5-5-1) in Cumberland.

Molloy and Brendan Carrell netted goals as Greely opened a 2-0 halftime lead. Matt Kramlich’s goal made it 3-0 before Molloy got his second of the night.

Tyler Carpenter scored for Wells to break up the shutout.

WAYNFLETE 6, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Ilyas Abdi scored twice in the first half and Mykel Henry scored twice in the second half to lead the Flyers (8-1-1) past the Hawks (1-9-1) in Portland.

Waynflete also got second-half goals from Thorne Kieffer and Oliver Burdick, and Max Winson made eight saves.

Erik Fossum scored for Sacopee Valley.

WINSLOW 9, WATERVILLE 0: Isaac Lambrecht collected four goals and two assists to lead the Black Raiders (10-2) over the Purple Panthers (2-9-1) in Waterville.

Jake Warn added two goals and two assists, Daylon Carpenter also scored twice, and Kaleb Burban had a goal and an assist.

RICHMOND 8, VINALHAVEN 0: Ford Strout, Andrew Vachon and Matt Rines each scored two goals for the Bobcats (11-0) in a win in Vinalhaven.

Nick Adams and Trystin Shea also scored, and Zach Small and Nate Kendrick had two assists apiece.

Joe Hopkins made 15 saves for Vinalhaven (3-5-2).

MT. VIEW 2, MDI 0: Elijah Allen scored two goals to lead the Mustangs (10-1) over the Trojans (2-9) in Thorndike.

Matt Overlock and Cassidy Pound each recorded an assist.
