BAR HARBOR — Avery Donovan recorded 11 kills Saturday to lead Deering to a 3-1 win over Mt. Desert Island in an interclass volleyball match.

Divine M’Bambi and Dianna Dervis each had nine kills for Deering (12-0), the No. 1 team in the Class A Heal point standings.

MacKenzie Hanna recorded five aces and four kills for MDI (7-4), which is ranked fourth in Class B. Julia Watras had three aces and three kills.

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, WINDHAM 0: Molly Mawhinney had eight kills and six aces to lead the Red Riots (7-5) to a 25-17, 25-23, 25-19 win over the Eagles (4-8) in South Portland.

Ashlee Aceto added 16 assists.

Meghan Harmon had 11 digs, four kills and an ace for Windham. Megan Fleck contributed six assists, four aces and two kills.

SCARBOROUGH 2, KENNEBUNK 1: Carrie Timpson’s two second-half goals lifted the Red Storm (12-1) over the Rams (9-4) in Scarborough.

Timpson broke a 1-1 tie with 13:49 remaining, taking a pass from Julia Booth-Howe and slamming a hard drive off the left post and into the cage.

Brittney Gregoire gave the Rams a 1-0 halftime lead, converting an assist from Lindsey Gregoire 5:24 into the game.

Timpson tied the match nine minutes into the second half off an assist from Lucy Malia.

Sam Carriero blocked three shots for Scarborough, which can earn the No. 1 seed in the Class A South playoffs with a win Wednesday at top-ranked Massabesic. Haley Moody was stellar in net for Kennebunk, recording 23 saves.

WINDHAM 1, NOBLE 0: Chloe Wilcox scored in the second half to lift the Eagles (1-11-1) past the Knights (2-10-1) in North Berwick.

Wilcox converted a penalty corner, taking a pass from her left at the top of the circle and lifting a shot into the net.

Grace Sawyer stopped 10 shots, including a penalty stroke, to preserve the shutout. Kaylee Mayotte stopped four shots for the Knights.

MT. VIEW 3, CENTRAL 0: Sophia King scored two goals and added an assist as the Mustangs (5-7) beat the Red Devils (3-10) in Thorndike.

Maddy Knowlton got the other goal, while Mt. View goalies Alexis Bowman and Thurston Illingworth combined for three saves.

Tori Hallett had 14 saves for Central.

GARDINER 3, BREWER 0: Hailee Lovely scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Tigers (11-1) over the Witches (5-8) in Gardiner.

Avery Backus needed just two saves for the shutout. Aimee Adams scored the other Gardiner goal.

Jennah Geiser made 10 saves for Brewer.

WAYNFLETE 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Ava Farrar scored twice for the Flyers (6-3) in a win over the Hawks (4-7) in Portland.

Farrar’s first goal was assisted by Kiley Sherry with four minutes left in the half. Sherry got a goal of her own two minutes later to give Waynflete a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Bella Rand answered for Sacopee Valley in the second half, but Farrar sealed the win with her second goal.

Ya Stockford made four saves for Waynflete. Sacopee’s Kylie Day stopped 12 shots.

SOUTH PORTLAND 4, MAINE GIRLS’ ACADEMY 2: Evelyn Selser scored twice as the Red Riots (5-3-3) used a three-goal second half to erase a 2-1 halftime deficit against the Lions (0-11) in South Portland.

Selser tied the game with a shot from inside the box, then tallied the go-ahead goal on a free kick from 25 yards.

Jena Leckie converted Meghan Graff’s assist for the final goal.

Graff’s header from Brooklynn Ortiz gave South Portland an early lead before the Lions closed out the first half with a pair of goals from Catherine Reid.

Maria Buck finished with nine saves for the Riots, and Carly Beaulieu had 14 for MGA.

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, LAKE REGION 0: Karli Chapin and Prezli Piscopo each scored twice as the Capers (6-5) defeated the Lakers (3-6-1) in Naples.

Olivia Cochran tallied the other goal.

Madison Rock made 15 saves for Lake Region.

WINSLOW 4, WATERVILLE 2: Carly Warn had a goal and an assist to lead the Black Raiders (9-1-1) to a win over the Purple Panthers (8-3-1) in Waterville.

Katie Doughty, Ashley Quirion and Sarah Guimond were the other goal scorers for Winslow.

Anika Elias had a goal and an assist for Waterville, which also got a goal from Paige St. Pierre.

MCI 6, LAWRENCE 0: Sydney Morton scored four goals as the Huskies (5-7) rolled past the Bulldogs (2-9) in Fairfield.

Claudia Fernandez Alvarez and Maile Halferty added a goal apiece, and MCI keeper Leah Bussell made eight saves.

Ava Quinlan had nine saves for Lawrence.

RICHMOND 2, VINALHAVEN 0: Caitlin Kendrick and Destiny Anair scored in the second half as the Bobcats (6-3-2) collected a win in Vinalhaven.

Kendrick broke the scoreless tie with 25:20 remaining, and Anair scored off a corner kick with 1:52 left.

Sydney Tilton made two saves for the Bobcats.

Gilleyanne Davis-Oakes made 15 saves for Vinalhaven (5-5-2).
