BOSTON — Trevor Lopes scored a pair of first-half goals, Ryan Buonaiuto added two in the second half, and the unbeaten St. Joseph’s men’s soccer team continued its season-long scoreless streak with a 6-0 GNAC victory over Emmanuel on Wednesday night.

Quentin Hewitt and Sean Baker also scored in the second half for the Monks (11-0-1, 7-0-1).

St. Joseph’s goalies Blake Mullen and David Walbridge went untested, while Jonathan Ferrarini had six saves for Emmanuel (1-6-6, 1-2-4).

BATES 1, THOMAS 0: Peter Bakken scored unassisted with 21 seconds remaining in the second overtime period to give the Bobcats (5-3-2) a win over the Terriers (6-7-1) in a nonconference game at Lewiston.

Robbie Montanaro stopped six shots for Bates. Jonathan Dutka had eight saves for Thomas.

MAINE MARITIME ACADEMY 2, USM 2: Joseph Kalilwa scored the tying goal at 57:24 off an assist from Sam Anderson to help Southern Maine (5-7-2) battle to a draw against the Mariners (2-7-3) at Gorham.

Matthew Caron scored twice for Maine Maritime and broke a 1-1 tie in the 53rd minute.

Anderson scored for the Huskies in the 41st minute, off a pass from Benjamin Musese.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

ST. JOSEPH’S 4, SIMMONS 2: Haley DaGraca scored all three of her goals in the first half, helping the Monks (9-4-1, 5-3-1 GNAC) beat the Sharks (7-4-2, 5-3-1) at Boston.

Simmons took a 1-0 lead 6:03 into the game, but DaGraca scored three times in a span of 15 minutes midway through the half to give the Monks a 3-1 lead at halftime.

Emily DeLuca made it 4-1 in the 58th minute off an assist from Peggy Balboni.

Brooke Troup had 10 saves for St. Joseph’s.

COLBY 3, UM-FARMINGTON 1: The Mules (4-5-2) took a 2-0 lead in the first half and handled the visiting Beavers (6-7) in a nonconference match at Waterville.

Emily Martin got things started for Colby on a setup from Olivia Greif in the 22nd minute. Ally Ingraham extended the lead with with her goal in the 42nd minute off a Hannah Brozdowski feed.

McKenna Brodeur cut the deficit for UM-Farmington with an unassisted goal in the 68th minute, but Brozdowski countered with an insurance goal with three minutes to play.

FIELD HOCKEY

COLBY 4, UM-FARMINGTON 0: Georgia Cassidy scored twice in the opening 22 minutes, and the Mules (9-3) downed the Beavers (5-8) in a nonconference game at Waterville.

Holli Olson and Eleanor Fitzgerald added goals for Colby.

Riley Whitmyer had eight saves for the Mules.
