I want to address the seemingly permanent portable toilet at the entrance of the path to the “fish house” on Langsford Road in Cape Porpoise.
I don’t see how this can be legal! What if other people started to put portable toilets in front of their buildings? Would that be allowed? It is a disgusting blot on the neighborhood. Anybody who walks down the street is assaulted by this eyesore.
And that’s not to mention the danger to the wetlands behind it. What if it leaks? Aren’t there any regulations against this?
It not only affects the residents but also must disturb the many visitors who come to the area because of its renowned beauty. Don’t forget that they help to support our economy. It is deplorable!
