FALMOUTH — Emma Cohen scored with 12:16 remaining as Falmouth ended its regular season with a 1-0 win over Sanford in a Class A South field hockey game Thursday.
Caitlin Bull made two saves for Falmouth (6-8), which unofficially climbed past Sanford (6-8) into the No. 9 spot in the Class A South Heal point standings. The Yachtsmen would face No. 8 Marshwood in a preliminary game on Saturday, while Sanford would finish 10th and visit No. 7 Kennebunk.
Amber Singleton had 10 saves for Sanford.

BRUNSWICK 6, LEWISTON 1: Anna Kousky scored twice, and Maeve Arthur had a goal and two assists as the Dragons (12-1) beat the Blue Devils (2-7-4) in Brunswick.
Isabella Banks, Sara Scrapchansky and Lea Scrapchansky each added a goal for Brunswick.
MORSE 3, GARDINER 0: Emily Martin scored all three goals as the Shipbuilders (8-3-2) cruised to victory over the Tigers (0-12-1) in Bath.
TRAIP ACADEMY 3, WAYNFLETE 3: Ava Farrar scored her second goal with 18 minutes remaining in the second half to put Waynflete (9-2-3) in front, but an own goal four minutes later enabled Traip to salvage a draw (6-4-3) in Portland.
Sophia Santamaria and Kathleen McPherson scored for Traip, while Abby Aleshire got the other goal for Waynflete.
Traip keeper Sommer Huntress made 12 saves. Ya Stockford stopped three shots for the Flyers.
HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 1, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0: Cassidy Lessner scored with just under 10 minutes to play as the Knights (6-6-1) defeated the Lions (0-12) in South Portland.
OXFORD HILLS 5, CONY 0: Julia Colby and Ceceila Dietrich each scored two goals for the Vikings (8-5) in a win over the Rams (0-12-1) in Augusta.
BANGOR 2, SKOWHEGAN 0: Maggie Cowperthwaite and Libby Spekhardt scored to lead the Rams (9-3-1) to a win in Skowhegan.
Alexis LeBreton made eight saves for Bangor, while Amber Merry had 12 saves for the Indians (3-10).

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, BONNY EAGLE 1: Noelle Michaud had five kills and two blocks to lead the Golden Trojans (7-6) to a 22-25, 25-12, 25-21, 25-11 win over the Scots (5-9) in Standish.
Whitney Regan led Bonny Eagle with 21 assists and four aces. Mia Ferrante had five kills and four blocks, and Jenna Litif added six kills and four blocks.
YARMOUTH 3, WINDHAM 0: Kaitlyn Bennett had eight kills and six aces as the Clippers (12-1) swept the Eagles (4-10) at Yarmouth, 25-19, 26-24, 25-16.
Mayzie Mulkern chipped in with five aces.
Megan Fleck led Windham with four kills and five aces, while Meghan Harmon had four aces and two blocks.
PORTLAND 3, MASSABESIC 0: Abby Krieckhaus had seven kills and Shayla Eubanks added five kills as the Bulldogs (7-6) swept the Mustangs (0-12) in Waterboro, 25-11, 25-18, 25-15.
Lauren Kiss recorded six kills for Massabesic.
