GORHAM — Gorham’s Michelle Rowe totaled 11 saves Friday night as the Rams held undefeated Scarborough to a 0-0 tie in an SMAA girls’ soccer game.

Scarborough, the top-ranked team in Class A South, had won its first 12 games and has one game remaining before the playoffs.

Gorham, which is fourth in the region, has a 9-2-2 record heading into its finale.

Emily Royce registered eight saves for the Red Storm.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 5, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Emma Woods scored first, followed by a goal by Brianna Jordan to give Gray-New Gloucester (6-6-1) a 2-0 halftime lead against the Seagulls (6-5-2) at Old Orchard Beach.

Alexa Thayer, Jaley Martin and Laural Thomas added second-half goals.

Ivy Abrams of the Patriots stopped the only shot she faced. Kaitlyn Cote had five saves for Old Orchard.

CHEVERUS 5, MAINE GIRLS’ ACADEMY 0: Mackenzie Johnston’s two first-half goals jumpstarted the Stags (11-2), who added three second-half goals to beat visiting Maine Girls’ Academy (0-13) at Portland.

Emma Gallant added a goal early in the second half, then set up Lauren Jordan for another.

Neve Cawley and Katie Boynton combined for three saves for Cheverus. Hope Olson stopped 20 shots for the Lions.

WELLS 6, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Hannah Cottis had two goals and an assist for the Warriors (8-5), who scored three times in each half to defeat the Panthers (2-11) at Yarmouth.

Sarah Webb also scored twice, and Mallory Aromando and Madison Szczygiel added goals.

Aisley Snell turned back 19 shots for NYA. Lauren Bartlett and Meredith Bogue each had one save for Wells.

BONNY EAGLE 1, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Emily Byrne’s header finished off a corner kick from Cassidy Koon after nine minutes of the second half and the Scots (8-4-1) went on to defeat the Red Riots (6-4-3) at Standish.

Maria Buck turned back 17 shots for South Portland. Sydney Gillingham had four saves for Bonny Eagle.

NOBLE 3, MASSABESIC 0: Amy Fleming scored from Grace Jordan with 6:29 remaining in the first half, starting the Knights (6-5-2) to a victory against the Mustangs (2-11) at Waterboro.

Noble extended its lead with 29 minutes remaining on a goal by Samantha Couture, assisted by Maddie Howard. Emma McLaughlin made it 3-0 with 10:53 left.

Raegan Kelly made eight saves for Noble. Julia Blackington had six saves for Massabesic.

MARSHWOOD 5, SANFORD 2: Five players scored for the Hawks (10-2-1), who took a 4-1 halftime lead and beat the Spartans (8-5) at Sanford.

Nathalie Clavette had four saves for the Hawks.

FALMOUTH 3, THORNTON ACADEMY 2: Caroline Cohen scored the winning goal 10 minutes into the second half as the Yachtsmen (6-6-1) rallied past the Trojans (5-8) at Saco.

Madison Wolfe scored two first-half goals for Falmouth, which trailed 1-0 after 18:24 when Mia Taranko scored for Thornton.

Wolfe got her goals in a span of seven minutes to give Falmouth a 2-1 lead. Alyanna Beaudoin tied it on a penalty kick in the 36th minute.

MADISON 10, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Ashley Emery scored three goals to spark the Bulldogs (13-1) over the Falcons (1-13) in Rumford.

Jillian Holden added two goals for Madison, and Whitney Bess, Sydney LeBlanc, Emily Edgerly, Trista Giroux and Lauren Hay also scored. Hay and Katie Worthen combined to make five saves.

Lauren Sterling stopped 14 shots for the Falcons.

OAK HILL 5, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Sydney Drew scored twice to lift the Raiders (13-1) over Spruce Mountain (7-5-2) at Wales.

Julia Noel, Lydia Therrien and Rylea-Mae Swan also scored. Anna Dodge and Grace Woodard combined to make eight saves for Oak Hill.

Annabelle Collins and Allison Acritelli combined to stop eight shots for the Phoenix.

CARRABEC 8, TELSTAR 1: Katrina Mason scored four goals to power the Cobras (6-4-3) over the Rebels (1-9-2) at North Anson.

Olivia Fortier, Annika Carey, Mikayla Vicneire and Lindsey Lesperence also scored for Carrabec. Ashley Cates made four saves.

Calla Orino scored for the Rebels.

BOYS’ SOCCER

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Alec Riggle scored midway through the first half and Oliver Moon scored with an assist from John O’Connor early in the second as the Capers (8-3-1) beat the Patriots (3-8-1) at Gray.

Brannon Gilbert had six saves for Gray-New Gloucester. Sean Agrondia finished with four saves for Cape.

MT. VIEW 5, LAWRENCE 2: Elijah Allen scored three goals to lead the Mustangs (13-1) over Lawrence (1-11-1) at Fairfield.

Sean Raven and Matt Overlock also scored for the Mustangs. Sam Craig got both goals for Lawrence.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 5, WATERVILLE 2: Alex Cleaves had two goals and two assists to spark the Eagles (9-4-1) over the Purple Panthers (2-11-1) at Waterville.

Seth Reed, Michael Sprague and Travis Dow also scored for Erskine. David McGraw made four saves.

Conrad Ayers and Adam Livshits got the goals for Waterville. Ethan Nurick and Declan Green combined to make eight saves.
