I would like to express my strong support for the re-election of Jill Duson as councilor at large for Portland.
Ms. Duson’s years of distinguished prior service on the City Council provide an institutional memory and experience that are particularly valuable in view of the important challenges facing the city and the recent turnover in council membership.
In the years that I have been following the council’s deliberations, I have been very impressed by Ms. Duson’s thoughtfulness, balance and independence on issues facing the city. I believe that Portland would be privileged to have Ms. Duson serve another term as city councilor.
