n Rebecca Wright has joined the staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters as director of development.

Wright, of Freeport, previously served as director of development for Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine.

n Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage hired Katie Schindler as a sales agent in its Kennebunk office.

Schindler became a real estate sales associate after extensive experience in education, from early childhood through adult education.

n The Maine Heritage Policy Center hired Terry Brown as its director of communications.

Brown, of Yarmouth, is a nationally published writer with 25 years of professional experience in corporate and political communications.

n OTT Communications hired Gabriel Winch as its new technical support representative in its Bangor office.

Winch, of Orono, joins OTT after previous stops at HelloTech and CellSavers.

n The Cathance River Education Alliance hired Wendy Van Damme as the executive Director.

Van Damme, of Harpswell, comes to CREA after more than 12 years in leadership roles with the Peace Corps, most recently as the Country Director of Peace Corps — Lesotho.

Wes Doane joined as a sales manager.

Doane previously worked for Solar Promotions International.

Chris Hakala was hired as an account executive. Hakala was previously employed by Accenture.

Kelsey Rex joined as a conference administrative assistant. Rex was previously employed by the American Red Cross.

n The Portland Society for Architecture named Addy Smith-Reiman as the group’s executive director.

She replaces Carole Merrill who is retiring after leading PSA since its 2006 inception.

Smith-Reiman brings a broad range of relevant expertise to her new role.

She previously worked for Riverlife in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as a senior planner/project manager.

She also served as transportation planner/project manager for Connect Historic Boston; conservation associate for the Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation in Boston; and founder/director of the Northeast Kingdom Arts Council in Vermont.

n Christopher Beaulieu, of Waterville, joined Allen Insurance and Financial as a broker-dealer assistant.

Beaulieu, of Waterville, is working as an assistant to Norm Hart, financial planner.

He is the third generation of his family to work for the company’s financial planning division.
