I just received a flier from Kim Rich’s opponent in the District 4 City Council race; he’s done a decent job during his one term (I called once to ask that our street be swept after winter). Then I received Kim’s brochure and was so impressed to learn more about her education, endorsements and priorities!

I’ve met Kim twice when she was canvassing my neighborhood, and I was so pleased to talk directly with her. We discussed news and politics, and I knew immediately that we were on the same wavelength.

Kim also made me aware of issues happening right in my own backyard, especially her hard work on perhaps the most important District 4 issue this year: the solar array being built atop a hazardous old city landfill.

If I had to sum up how I feel about Kim’s campaign in a word, it would be that I am so positively impressed!
