STOWE, Vt. — With freezing temperatures and snow in the forecast, the Vermont Transportation Agency has closed Smugglers Notch – the narrow, windy mountain pass between the towns of Stowe and Jeffersonville.
WCAX-TV reports that the agency called it an “interim closure” depending on the upcoming weather. The road, officially called. Route 108, closes each fall for the winter
