I was pleased to read a letter Oct. 14 from Jones Gallagher, which ended with the following: “We must not allow the government to intrude into the lives of those it is charged to protect or to seek to restrict our freedoms.”
I was about to applaud the letter writer for his forceful statement in defense of the right to an abortion when I realized that he was writing about guns!
Is there hypocrisy and a double standard here?
