Emily Demers, Portland/Deering junior forward: The North Yarmouth Academy transfer is fearlessly aggressive and will serve as one of the Bulldogs’ most dangerous scoring threats.

Abby Joy, Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland senior goalkeeper: An All-South pick, Joy is regarded as one of the top returning goalkeepers in the conference with her quick reflexes and understanding of angles.

Abby Lamontagne, Cheverus/Kennebunk sophomore forward: Lamontagne scored 27 goals with 13 assists as a freshman, earning first-team All-South honors. She is considered one of the state’s most dynamic forwards.

Zoe Mazur, Cheverus/Kennebunk junior defenseman: An all-around athlete, Mazur is a new addition to the up-and-coming team who could rival Scarborough’s Courtney Brochu as a top defenseman in the South.

Emma Merrill, Portland/Deering freshman defenseman: Merrill’s quickness and understanding of the game will play a key role in helping the Bulldogs improve upon a 1-17 record last season.

Bridget Roberts, Greely/Gray-New Gloucester senior forward: A leader on the team, Roberts contributed 15 goals and 11 assists for the North runner-up, earning first-team all-conference honors.

Kayla Sarazin, Falmouth junior defenseman: The second-team All-South pick uses her exceptional endurance to wear down opponents. Sarazin (five goals and 10 assists) and Abigail Lebel (14 goals and 10 assists) will anchor the regional champion’s defense.

Courtney Sullivan, Greely/Gray-New Gloucester senior forward: A Maine Sunday Telegram All-State and first-team All-North pick, Sullivan is a strong skater with a quick shot, leading the Rangers with 29 goals and 10 assists.

Sophia Venditti, Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland junior forward: The first-team All-South pick scored 19 goals and chipped in with 15 assists last season. Her consistency, work ethic and hockey IQ make her tough to defend.
