Kellie Bolduc, Waterville senior: Was first in the triple jump (36-61/2) at the Class B state championships, second in the high jump (5-0), and third in the 55-meter hurdles (9.01) to lead her team to its fifth straight state title.

Tessa Cassidy, Brunswick junior: Won the 2-mile (11:43.76) and was fourth in the mile (5:27.26) at the Class A state championships.

Alyssa Coyne, Greely junior: Won the shot put at the Class B state championships (39-0) and was third in the pole vault (8-6). Took fifth in the shot put (40-3/4) at the New England championships.

Tori Daigle, Thornton Academy senior: Won three events at the Class A state meet – 55-meter hurdles (8.61), long jump (18-2) and triple jump (37-91/2) – and set a Class A record in the long jump. She also took third in the long jump at the New Englands (18-3/4).

Emma Egan, Yarmouth junior: Broke the Class B high jump record at 5-41/2 at the state championships. Also third in the 55 (7.57) and second in the long jump (16-5) at the state meet. Finished seventh in the high jump (5-3) at the New England championships.

Kate Hall, Lake Region senior: Won the long jump at the nationals (20-11.25) and placed sixth in the 60 (7.47). Set New England records in the 55 (6.95) and long jump (20-6). Swept her events at the Class B state meet. And set state records in the long jump (19-61/2) and 200 (25.17).

Heather Kendall, Lewiston senior: Won the 200 (26.37) and 55 (7.36) at the Class A meet.

Sarah Shoulta, Waterville senior: Successfully defended her Class B titles in the pole vault (9-6) and 55 hurdles (8.79).

Lauren Stoops, Orono junior: Took second in the 55 (7.46), the 55 hurdles (8.83) and the 200 (26.77) at the Class B state championships.

Tia Tardy, Mattanawcook sophomore: Won the 800 (2:19.08) at the Class B state championship as well as the 2-mile (11:57.21). Finished sixth at the New England championships in the 1,000 (2:57.67).

COACH OF THE YEAR

Lisa Huntress, Thornton Academy: Huntress led her team to its second straight Class A indoor title in convincing fashion. The Trojans clinched the championship before the final 800-meter relay.
