Devon Datsis, York senior, forward: A strong offensive player with an explosive finish around the net. She scored 17 goals and 10 assists last year, including one in the state championship victory.

Molly Davee, Camden Hills senior, midfielder/defender: Also an ice hockey player, Davee sees the field well and makes quick decisions to get the ball where it needs to go.

Claudia Folger, Marshwood senior, midfielder: One of the Hawks’ most experienced players, she plays key roles at both ends of the field and will be a leader at midfield.

Haley Frizzle, Mt. Ararat junior, goalie: Frizzle is called a game-changer by her coach. She made 218 saves last year to keep the Eagles close in most games. Aggressive, athletic and sees the field well.

Gianna Gaudet, Portland senior, goalie: A four-year starter, Gaudet has improved each season and gives the Bulldogs one of the better goalies in the SMAA.

Liz Helmreich, Sanford senior, wing: A returning all-state player, Helmreich scored 16 goals for the Spartans despite often facing double-teams. Very good stick skills and field presence.

Jenny Holmquist, Gray-New Gloucester senior, center back: A four-year varsity starter, she controls the defensive end with her field sense and stick skills.

Alie Jones, York senior, forward: Very skilled and dangerous in close. Jones scored 16 goals with four assists for the Class B state champs last year.

Morgan Karnes, Freeport senior, goalie: Starting her third season in goal for the Falcons. Made 116 saves last year to help Freeport to the Western Class B quarterfinals.

Camryn LaPierre, Westbrook sophomore, defender: Came in as a freshman and made immediate contributions with her quickness, athleticism and stick skills. Makes good decisions in tight spots.

Ashley Levesque, Scarborough junior, forward/midfield: Sees the field well and is an accomplished passer and/or scorer. Can play multiple positions. Scored 12 goals with 14 assists last year.

Kristen Levesque, Scarborough junior, forward/midfield: Like her twin sister, has strong sticks skills and the ability to play anywhere on the field. Scored 10 goals and 15 assists last year for the Class A state champs.

Lauren McIntyre, Portland senior, forward: Dangerous whenever she gets the ball. Scored 13 goals with nine assists last year, and has 27 goals and 24 assists over the last two years.

Sydney Meader, Boothbay Region sophomore, forward: Led the Seahawks in scoring last year with 10 goals and five assists, and has continued to show improvement in all skills.

Tori Messina, Yarmouth senior, goalie: An all-state selection last year who directs the defense. This will be her third year in goal and she has improved each season.

Emily Michaud, Cheverus senior, midfielder: An all-SMAA selection last year she has good stick skills and a very good presence around the goal. Look for her to be among the leading scorers for the Stags.

Grace Pickering, Thornton Academy senior, midfielder: Possesses tremendous stick skills and has the ability to contribute offensively and defensively. Makes good decisions in the midfield.

Libby Pomerleau, Thornton Academy senior, forward: The school’s all-time leader in goals (38) and points (87). Scored a school-record 20 goals last season as an all-state selection and looks stronger this year.

Lily Posternak, York junior, center midfielder: Considered by many the best player in the state. Her stick skills are exceptional, as is her field sense. Had 16 goals and 15 assists for the Class B state champs.

Olivia Sandford, Kennebunk senior, forward: Great 1-on-1 skills with the ability to handle pressure. Sees the whole field well, especially in the circle. Sandford scored 12 goals with four assists last year.

MacKenzie Sangster, North Yarmouth Academy senior, forward: On a very young Panthers team, she will be counted on to provide leadership as well as scoring.

Abbie Staples, Massabesic senior, center midfielder: An all-state selection last year, Staples moves to center midfield to take advantage of her stick skills and game sense. Very intelligent on the field.

Ketty Stinson, Brunswick junior, forward: Very talented with strong stick skills and good field sense. Has improved each year since her freshman debut.

Makayla Van Blarcom, Oceanside senior, right wing: The returning starter uses her speed and field vision to create opportunities for teammates. She is also the flyer on defensive penalty corners.

Kerry Wells, Deering senior, forward: Very athletic and capable of playing any position on the field. She will go wherever the Rams need her to go. An all-SMAA selection last year.
