The Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce has announced that all of Friday's and most of Saturday's events of the Camden Windjammer Festival have been canceled because of possible severe weather associated with Hurricane Earl.
The festival will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, weather permitting. Sunday events will take place as planned. Windjammers will be in the harbor for festival goers to see and visit. The pancake breakfast, Chowder Challenge and fireworks will now take place on Sunday.
Festival updates are available by going to camdenme.org and www.camdenwindjammerfestival.com or by calling the chamber of commerce at (800) 223-5459.
